The Drill Hollow Bar System consists of fully threaded steel bar sections, couplers, nuts and drill bits. It can be drilled and grouted into loose or collapsible soil without a casing. The bar sections feature a hollow center that allows for a simultaneous drilling and grouting operation.
The Drill Hollow Bar serves as a drill rod. It is fitted with a lost drill bit at the front that can be adapted to different ground conditions. After each single bar section of 1 to 6m, the subsequent bar is coupled to the previously installed section.
It is mainly applied in complex layer formation of broken rock, loose soil, weathering rock and so on which is difficult to make the hole. It is good for supporting and improving surrounding rock, and can achieve good supporting effect in tunnel support, radial support and various types of slope treatment projects.
